About

Professional profile

I am a Senior Product Manager based in Berlin, focused on translating complex domains into product strategy, AI-enabled workflows, and measurable execution. My work combines product strategy, technical architecture, hands-on prototyping, data/AI workflows, and stakeholder execution across energy, AdTech, telecom, and media platforms.

The consistent thread across that work is decision quality: taking a domain where information is scattered, incentives are mixed, and the cost of a wrong call is real — campaign risk, regulatory exposure, network fault diagnosis, release governance — and building a product that makes the right decision easier to reach, explain, and audit. AI is one tool in that system, applied where it improves judgment, not a default answer applied everywhere.

That approach carries through to how I build: prototyping product flows and API/data models directly, reviewing architecture decisions with engineering rather than handing off a spec, and treating governance, auditability, and human-in-the-loop control as product requirements rather than an afterthought.

Background

Where this experience comes from

Senior Product Manager

Hanwha Qcells GmbH · Berlin, Germany

  • Scaled HEMS product direction toward a 30,000+ device base.
  • Delivered €450K in annual savings through renegotiated supplier and partner terms.
  • Improved a key partner service level to 99.1%.
  • Sole product owner of a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) across DACH and wider European markets.
  • Owned product scope across solar, battery storage, EV charging, heat pumps, dynamic tariffs, VPP readiness, smart metering/control topics, grid interaction, and regulated energy workflows.
  • Led roadmap, product strategy, GTM, stakeholder alignment, vendor/partner coordination, installer/service enablement, and launch-readiness work.
  • Worked within the regulated German energy context, including §14a EnWG, §9 EEG, smart metering, dynamic tariffs, VPP, and Direktvermarktung.

Product Manager

BMW Group · Munich, Germany

  • Platform processed 10M+ daily events across 20+ integrated systems.
  • Reduced breakages by 18%, cut latency by 35%, and enabled 3x growth in platform usage.
  • Owned an API-driven Big Data platform built on Palantir Foundry and AWS.
  • Treated the platform itself as a product, with its own roadmap and adoption metrics.
  • Drove the canonical data model, standardized schemas, technical decisions, stakeholder alignment, and scaled-agile execution.
  • Translated technical architecture and data topics into product decisions and senior stakeholder recommendations.

Product Lead / Software Engineer

IBM India · Mumbai, India

  • Owned 7 regulated insurance products end to end.
  • Awarded IBM Star Performer.
  • Started as a Software Engineer working with SQL, Python, and backend services, then promoted to Product Lead.
  • Worked on product structure, pricing logic, business model, REST API integrations, and marketplace distribution.

How I work

Operating principles

  • I start from the operational risk or business cost, not the technology — AI is scoped in only where it improves a decision that's actually being made today.
  • I keep a human in the loop wherever a decision is hard to reverse or carries compliance, revenue, or safety weight.
  • I design for auditability from the first version, not as a retrofit once something breaks.
  • I work close enough to the architecture to make informed tradeoffs with engineering, not just prioritize a backlog.
  • I tie every roadmap decision back to a measurable operational, revenue, compliance, or customer-experience outcome.

See how these principles show up in the product work.

The case studies walk through the same operating model applied to four different domains.
